Stepping Out
When you lean on the Lord upon a condition, situation, a particular circumstance or purpose, there is a thankfulness and trust that occurs. During a time of intimacy, you must listen patiently to His gentle voice of direction. God says "Come to my Presence" as you step out in faith to that quiet place of truth. It’s an invitation of entering the Throne Room surrounding you with His love and divine security.
There was a moment in my life when I almost lost a child from negative thoughts. God's promises were not to give up. It is written in the books of Galatians chapter 6, verse 9 ~ “Don't be weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up.” That happens by being quiet with the Lord and receiving godly counsel from Holy Spirit.
There are seasons in our lives that we want to walk away, shut the door or toss in the towel, because we want our expectations to be fulfilled and we feel that they wern't.
When is the last time you asked Papa God to fulfill His expectations in you?
It will be quite different because Jesus’ expectations are whatever is pure, whatever is humble, and whatever is lovely in us to doing good through our conditions, situations, circumstances or purpose.
There are times that we lean on Him, but He is leaning on us to step out with genuine confidence in Him to fulfill our purpose and pray with love and humility. As we continue to read and study the Word of the God to increase our measurement of faith, then in due season, we will see and taste God's goodness.
